Bath salts instructions

BATH SALTS

Ingredients:

1 ½ cups rock salt

½ cup Epsom salts

1 cup bicarbonate soda

½ cup Dead sea salts

Sachet of Botanicals

Fragrance oil

Colour

This is one of the simplest products you can make. They make a beautiful gift or are lovely just to treat yourself to a nice relaxing bath.

Simply get a large press seal bag or two for extra strength, you can also use a container with a lid.

Add all the dry ingredients and mix them together well. Now add the fragrance oil,  I add about 15 drops of fragrance oil . You can add more fragrance oil if you would like a stronger smell. Now add the colour, I use about 8 drops but again it depends how dark you would like it, use your finger tips to incorporate the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients a bit like when you make pastry. When it is thoroughly combined seal the bag or container. I usually shake these salts everyday for about a week to prevent them from clumping together and forming a solid mass then package as desired. Directions for use are add 1 – 2 tblspns to the running water in a warm bath.
