optiphen plus

Optiphen plus is an emollient based liquid preservative (emollients are substances that soften and soothe the skin) It provides protection against the growth of bacteria and moulds in your creams and lotions. It also improves the feel of your creams and lotions. Optiphen plus is best suited to a slightly acidic (ph less than 6) cream or lotion formulation.
 
Recommended usage rate: 0.75% - 1.5%
 
This product is not to be swallowed so can not be used in lip balms.
 
Ingredients: phenoxyethanol, sorbic acid, and caprylyl glycol
